Introducing re-Framed. at The Optical Shoppe
There is a particular kind of satisfaction that comes from finding something rare. A frame that was discontinued three seasons ago. A style that nobody makes quite like that anymore. A pair of glasses that fits your face like it was always meant to end up there — it just took a little longer to find you.
That's the idea behind re-Framed. — our curated consignment collection, and one of our favourite things we've ever done.
What re-Framed. means here
We're not a thrift store and we're not a clearance rack. Every frame that makes it into re-Framed. has been inspected, cleaned, and held to the same standard we apply to everything else on our floor. If it doesn't meet that standard, it doesn't come in. Full stop.
What you'll find are pre-loved frames from discerning owners — people who clearly had great taste and are simply ready to pass their pieces on. Past-season styles from the brands you know and trust. The occasional rare find that stopped being made before enough people had the chance to discover it. And sometimes, just a beautifully crafted frame at a price that makes the decision considerably easier.
What to expect when you shop re-Framed.
Once a frame is gone, it's gone — which is part of what makes finding one feel like exactly the right moment. We'd recommend coming in regularly and keeping an open mind. The best finds are rarely the ones you were specifically looking for.
A few things worth knowing before you shop: re-Framed. frames are final sale, sold as-is, and may show minor signs of previous wear consistent with a pre-loved piece. Prescription lens availability depends on the individual frame and will be assessed in-store with one of our Licensed Opticians.

If you have a pair of glasses that deserves a second chapter, we'd love to give them one. We accept consignment frames that meet our quality standards, and we're looking for frames in excellent condition from quality brands with minimal signs of wear. Both prescription frames and sunglasses are welcome. Current and past-season styles considered.
How it works
Bring your frames into The Optical Shoppe and one of our team members will assess them for Re-Framed. If they're a fit, we'll list the frame and once it sells you'll receive a 50% of the sale price as store credit.
What we're looking for
- Frames from quality independent or designer brands
- Excellent overall condition — minimal wear, no significant scratches or damage
- Prescription frames and sunglasses both welcome
- Current and past-season styles considered

re-Framed. pieces are sold as-is and may show minor signs of previous wear. All re-Framed. frames are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges. Prescription lens availability is subject to frame condition and will be assessed in-store with the guidance of a Licensed Optician.
